I think this is by far the easiest recipe you can prepare at home in 15 minutes, for your whole family. I love this on a Sunday morning to share it with the ones I love.
Ingredients are very basic and and healthy, not too expensive and easy to find. These quantities will give you 4 to 5 servings.
What you need
For the crumble
150g organic jumbo oats
50g coarsely chopped almonds
10 g coconut oil
1 big spoon of peanut butter. I use crunchy but you can go for smooth
20 ml agave syrup – depending on your preference you can use more
Pinch of ground cinnamon and ginger
Just put everything in a bowl and using your fingertips rub the mixture together until you feel that all ingredients have blended perfectly together. Set that aside.
For the base
100 g of fresh blueberries
100 g of fresh raspberries
1 spoon of coconut sugar or agave syrup
Simply place the berries and sugar in a pan over medium to high heat. Allow them approximately 5 minutes until they start to release the juices mixing them with a spoon as you go along.
Take a baking dish of approx 24 x 30 cm and pour over the berries and spread them over the base of the dish. Take the oats crumble and layer them on top of the berries. That’s it.
Place in the oven at 200 degrees C for 10 minutes until nice and golden brown.
Serve warm with coconut yogurt, natural yogurt or even plain. Enjoy!
