I think we did great, made it half way through the week!

These past few days were quite busy for me too. But all is great. And you know what! Let’s keep sharing light into this world!

Today, just a quick one. Do you like CINNAMON?

I absolutely do, an I’ll tell you why.

Nature is so amazing, it really provides us with all we need to be healthy and strong.

Researches showed that even the smell of cinnamon enhances cognitive function. Eating it, even better, it stimulates and increases brain function. We all need that one for sure!

It is known that cinnamon helps with the blood sugar spikes we get after we consume a meal. It seems that cinnamon, slows down this process which in turn improves the effectiveness of sensitivity of insulin.

It is packed with antioxidants which can prevent cancer and improve your heart health.

A teaspoon of cinnamon has as much antioxidants as you can get from a cup of berries.

Pretty cool, I think.


Here are some ideas of how you can use it if you have’t already.

You can always sprinkle cinnamon in your coffee, smoothies and even pancakes mix.

If you like your porridge, banana and cinnamon is a great combination. Just saying’!

Instead of eating your apple plain, slice it up and sprinkle some cinnamon on it. You will love it.

I sometimes slice some apple place it on a baking tray, sprinkle with cinnamon, coconut sugar and chopped pecans and just place it in the oven under the grill for approx. 10 or 15 minutes. Keep an eye on it, just to make sure you don’t burn it. Serve it with some fresh yogurt or without, add a dash of honey and more cinnamon and you will love me for it.

I also use it as one of the ingredients for my home-made face mask in combination with raw honey. Really good for your skin.

You may be surprised how great meat can taste if you use cinnamon as one of your spices before you cook it.
